batmand-dbg software package provides better approach to mobile adhoc networking (debug files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install batmand-dbg
batmand-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the batmand-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep batmand-dbg *
You will get with batmand-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
